Crush cutting is not an exact science and each blade must have a radiused edge to give good slit quality with an acceptable blade life. At Swemko we have the knowledge through experience of each type of radius configuration to suit each type of material to make sure all our blades perform to the best of their ability.

We supply blades in various dimensions with many angles and edge configurations in three main materials. Standard steel, High Carbon High Chrome and Powdered metal. Please note Sleeve hardness is critical when selecting upper blade material to avoid scoring of the Anvil roll.

We can supply Anvil rolls in the form of solid rolls or sleeves to slide over the shaft to your exact requirements.
